motan group again awarded as world market leader
These are the 500 secret world market leaders.
Every year, the University of St. Gallen, in cooperation with the Academy of German Global Market Leaders, lists 500 global market leaders from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The basis is provided by a database currently containing around 1,300 entries of potential world market leaders. These companies are filtered and selected according to strict criteria and rules. This year, the motan group was once again named world market leader.
To make it onto the list of world market leaders, companies must fulfil certain criteria: For example, they must be number one or two worldwide in terms of turnover in a relevant market segment. In addition, at least 50% of the annual turnover, with a lower limit of 50 million euros, must be generated abroad and on three continents. In addition, the owners must be based at least in part in Germany. With a turnover of 116 million euros, an export quota of >50% on six continents and its headquarters in Constance, motan has clearly met the criteria.
